Summary
There were several comparisons to be made between Earth and Pandora: Earth had been reduced to a barren wasteland planet with insane laws imposed by a greedy government; Pandora was beautiful, teeming with colorful life and shared through the beautiful heart-songs of native Singers. Earth was where they'd cremated his twin brother, Mark, and asked Puck to take his place; Pandora was where Mark still came to him in the most realistic dreams he'd ever had. On Earth, Puck had been confined to a wheelchair and the orders of the military; On Pandora, Noah earned his place as a leader with infinite respect and humbled power.
Earth had destroyed his life and family. But Pandora introduced his soulmate, Kurt, and allowed him to create new ones.

It's not until New Year's Day 2012 that Puck and Kurt realize they're together again, but obstacles like a boyfriend and abandonment issues prevent them from fully reconnecting. That doesn't stop them from trying, though.

"It…um…" Puck has to look away to answer because he won't be able to bare the disgust that he knows will cloud those currently open and accepting eyes like Fungus in less than a minute. He knows it will hurt worse than the morning he spent separating the stupid roses by color and tying them into different arrangements, deciding they looked off with whatever he'd put them with, and having to do them over. Worse than a thousand thorns; it will be a fucking Cactus stabbed through his chest and Marigolds will sprout from his eyes and Love-Lies-Bleeding will become his reality, not just a weeping flower. "It means…I mean, it's a Gardenia. And um …" he clears his throat quickly, staring at his bandages fingertips. "Wikipedia says it means I'm secretly in love with you."

So Parrot moves, remembers, gets caught in some fictitious questline that borders on providence, and moves again. He lists, learns a few names that get added to a roster of contacts on his communicator. Gains enemies, too many at times. Then lists again. He gains a status, a quote of infamy.
Nothing ever stays too long, not with him.

He should hate Aang fiercely and openly, and he should have set that entire clearing on fire to get to him and capture him once and for all.
"No,” he said, and was surprised to find it was the truth.
OR What if Zuko and Aang talked at the end of "The Blue Spirit"? A tale about young love and how it is as real as it is inexplicable.
Aang is not twelve. This IS a rewrite of the show, but it diverges more in the Book 3 chapters. Please read the notes before the prologue!
