Summary
Isaac Morgan was brought into the world of the outlaws at the age of five. Though it wasn't at the hand of his Pa. It was his own doing, though solely done out of self-defense. He had to run either way. He ended up meeting two kind girls that were on the hunt for their older brother, Jake Adler, and his wife, Sadie. They decided, then and there, they'd stick together. That leaves them in Rhodes in 1899 and exhausted by rich families hating each other.

Summary
John made it a dozen steps down the mountain before he stopped dead in his tracks and marveled at his own stupidity. What was he doing? It was what Arthur asked him to do–no, begged him to do–but that didn't make it right.
In between coughing fits that made John's stomach churn, Arthur had kept going on about how John had a family in Abigail and Jack, and maybe that was true… but before there had been John and Abigail or John and Jack, there had been John and Arthur. He'd called Arthur his brother while he clutched his bleeding shoulder and wore Arthur's hat and satchel, because he thought it was what Arthur would want to hear before John ran off like a coward. It wasn't untrue, not exactly, but if John's feelings for the self-sacrificing idiot weren't completely platonic, well, now wasn't the time or place to examine that.
(AKA the fic where John doesn't leave the mountain alone, and everything that happens afterward.)
