    Anakin's first solo mission is going to be amazing. Finally, he'll be able to show his angel that they're fated mates. Learning that Padmé likes lovers who purr is a stroke of luck (and utterly necessary after his perfect omega mate made him submit in front of the Queen and her Councilors).

    However, this plan hits a snag when Anakin discovers he can't purr. Fortunately, his Master is an alpha, too. And, as Obi-Wan likes to point out, it's his duty to teach Anakin everything.

    This arrangement works until his Master discovers Anakin's problem with involuntarily submitting to his angel. According to Master Obi-Wan, Anakin's not allowed to cherry-pick what he wants to learn. Anakin doesn't want stupid alpha lessons.

    But being too successful means the purring ends. And Anakin doesn't want that either.

    A holocron should not be capable of tearing the fabric of reality.

    When forty-one-year-old Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi is thrown into a parallel universe, he finds a Temple almost familiar enough to hurt— except here, Anakin Skywalker is a Jedi Master, Obi-Wan's younger counterpart is his missing Padawan, and the two of them share a bond that leaves Obi-Wan wondering what, exactly, his own universe has been withholding from them.

    Until the way home is found, Master Skywalker is responsible for him.

    And perhaps the strangest part is discovering that being loved by an Anakin who already loves another version of you can still feel a little like coming home.

    One second they are exploring an ancient ritualistic cave and the next Obi-Wan catches sight of his unruly, infinitely curious Padawan reaching out to touch a foreign object. A holocron. Klaxon level alarm bells sound in the Force; so Obi-Wan reacts on instinct, diving across the space separating them and Force-shoves Anakin out of the way.

    OR AOTC Obi-Wan time travels to ROTS Anakin and finds his Padawan is little more than an angsty, depressed mess. There's nothing to do but rectify the lack of direction the lad so clearly needs.
