Ten years after the Second Wizarding War, the world continued to worship the Chosen One, but nobody seemed to notice that he was quietly unraveling. Harry Potter rose to the top ranks of the DMLE, attended Ministry functions, smiled for the papers – but Pansy saw through it all. She saw the exhaustion, saw the way he retreated into himself when the cameras weren’t on him.
Pansy wasn’t sure why she cared, but once she noticed, she couldn’t seem to look away.
