Summary
Xie Lian leaned down to get a better view, his eyes fixing onto the captivating man who had just wrapped up his dance routine. A sharp spotlight illuminated him, highlighting his heaving ribcage and hair clinging to his neck. For a second, his sharp, storm-grey gaze met the camera, eliciting a guttural scream from the fan behind it. Xie Lian raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the man who was now panting heavily on the screen.
The crimson idol raised the microphone to his mouth, tipping his head back to regain his composure for a moment, a smile hiding in the corners of his mouth as the sculpted arch of his neck was accentuated.
“Hello, Ghost City,” he purred.

“Is this a—”
“It’s not a sex thing,” Alhaitham interrupts.
“Hmph. We could make it a sex thing,” Kaveh says. “Wise senior Kaveh helps out his poor underclassman with homework. How ever will he pay me for my services?”
“Yes, Kaveh. I too find ancient runes to be an adequate aphrodisiac, but we haven’t the time.”
One unremarkable afternoon, Alhaitham and Kaveh translate some runes.

Summary
Hongjoong whistled low. “A tall order, sire.” He cocked his head to the side with a snarky smile on his lips. “And it comes at a steep price.”
Seonghwa’s father gripped the armrests of his throne. “Name it.”
Hongjoong paused to rake his eyes over Seonghwa. “You will give me your son in marriage.”
...
Pirate Captain Hongjoong is more powerful than the King. He knows it. The King knows it. Everyone knows it. So when the King begs him for an alliance, Hongjoong can name his price. No one expects him to demand the crown Prince’s hand in marriage, least of all Prince Seonghwa. But can Seonghwa survive on the savage seas? And will this loveless marriage harden his heart like the pirate he’s been tied to?
