    Dustin starts the second Eddie’s van disappears down the street and while Steve is helping him latch his bicycle onto the back of the BMW, and honestly. Steve really should’ve seen this coming.
    He heaves out a heavy sigh and rolls his eyes, pushing back when he deems the bike secure enough.
    “For the millionth time, Henderson,” he says, rounding the car to get into the front seat. “No. I’m not playing your nerd games with you.”
