Rhaenyra Mercar was sent to infiltrate the Ossuary eighteen months ago only to become a guest the underground prison and subject of it's experimentation. She's used to going at things alone and being left behind so she makes the best out of a bad situation.
Days after receiving a new call mate, Rhaenyra is rescued by the Antivan Crows and takes her first steps in a journey to recovery. The outside world is big and scary after being trapped for so long, but it's okay because this time she has a demon and a crow on her side who is just as damaged as she is. Rhaenyra and Lucanis work together to find out who betrayed them and hopefully, along the way, they can fix each other's broken souls.
