It doesn’t make Frederick very proud of himself but he has a silent hope that Anne will be blindsided and forced to explain herself to him after all those years. He hopes she’ll feel just as uncomfortable as he does right now. And he plans to make her beg for his attention, he’s not going to let her off this easily.
He’s mind is spinning again, only this time he’s trying to plan for the future, how he is going to react to her, how he’ll show her how little she means to him after all that time. Maybe he’ll not even spare a glance in her direction once he’s sure she’ll notice that.
So when he walks into her in the hallway and she looks up to him, smiles and says: “Hi, I’m Anne, Mary’s sister” all he can think is “what the fuck”.Bookmarked by starfallaway
