Riyo went inside, searching for clues. The strange liquid turned out to be blood, thick, but not dried completely. Moving carefully through the rubble, she saw a piece of purple fabric under a heap of trash. She knew that shade of purple all too well. Her hand moved to her scissors, then to her choker.
“Hey, Bro? Are you guys done yet?”
“Just cleaned up the last one. Where are you, Riyo?”
“In some ruined house. It should be on your left. Do you see it?” She kicked some trash away, revealing a torn up, dirty Raider uniform.
“Yeah. Should we head over there?”
“As soon as you can. Just… cover Dear’s eyes when you’re here. This place is a mess.”

At least, that’s how he felt. Laying in his bed, in the middle of the night, alone with his thoughts and the faint ghost of that addictive, fiery pain coursing through his veins. Pain evoked by a drug more deadly than any toxin known to man. A drug with no name, no source and no recipe. And, worst of all, no antidote.

Summary
There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.
The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.
The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.
The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.
And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.

“No shit, with this headache,” Zanka grumbles. He glances up at Zodyl, pulling a face, and carefully wiggles out of his hold, standing on his own two feet. He sways a bit, then says, “Who the hell are you people?”
Interesting. Zodyl’s mind begins spinning, ideas and experiments spilling into his thoughts as Zanka assesses both them and the Cleaners with an unfamiliar gaze.
“Kyouka,” he says then, “What… what’s going on?”
On a joint mission with the Hellguard, Zanka takes a hit to the head. Zodyl sees an opportunity and takes it.
