    Summary

When Carlisle Cullen arrives in Forks with his family, he expects rain, discretion and another temporary home.
He does not expect Chief Charlie Swan and the impossible bond that forms between them.
As Charlie and Bella are drawn deeper into the supernatural world, Charlie and Carlisle must decide what belongs to fate, what belongs to choice and how far they are willing to go to protect the people they love.

A canon-divergent Twilight AU featuring slow-burn, protective vampires, competent dads and far too many Emmet jokes.

    Summary

The scent of Charlie’s blood in the back of Carlisle’s throat refused to fade.
He held the animal closer, felt the twitching of its warm body slowing as he drank, but it didn’t help.
For the first time in his long life, the deer’s blood did nothing to satisfy him at all.
Carlisle tried not to dwell on why that might be.

Carlisle and Charlie's beginnings. A journey that threatens to break them. A love that sews them back up.

    Summary

Seven years of immobilising his emotions, minding his words, and watching his and his daughter’s backs means that Phoenix is a little more than off-kilter when all of that finally comes to its end— because taking off the mask means adjusting to the light.
