“Just a minute, hayi,” Kaveh breathed.
“Are you alright?” Alhaitham asked. Kaveh nodded.
“Yeah, I just need to breathe; you know, like a normal human being,” he answered. “I don’t understand how you do it; it’s like you have super lungs.” Alhaitham chuckled, leaning in to kiss Kaveh’s neck.
“I don’t need to breathe when I’m kissing you,” Alhaitham replied. “And you’ve been so busy lately, it’s been so long since we’ve done anything. I miss you.”
“I know, I’m sorry,” Kaveh replied, threading his fingers into Alhaitham’s hair.
“You don’t have to apologize, your clients do,” Alhaitham murmured. “You work too much; you’re overtired.”
“And you’re missing me?” Kaveh teased. Alhaitham pulled back and looked him in the eye.
“I’m craving you,” he replied simply. Kaveh had just caught his breath, but he lost it again at Alhaitham’s words. He leaned in and kissed Alhaitham, his fingers digging into his hair. Alhaitham enthusiastically kissed him back.
“Hayi, I know you said you wanted to marry me again,” Kaveh said as they parted. “But what if we just skipped to the wedding night instead?”
