Summary
Wonwoo quietly enters Mingyu's space again breaking their invisible bubbles shielding them that they had so cautiously built to protect and comfort the other.
Wonwoo raised to his tip toes and rubbed their cheeks together releasing some calming pheromones for Mingyu. Wonwoo knows this was too intimate for them to disregard it so carelessly as a gesture that normal friends do - but neither of them acknowledge it, not wanting to break what they had only now allowed themselves to experience.
Wonwoo doesn't even give himself the chance to imagine a life with Mingyu but Mingyu can't imagine a life without Wonwoo.

The shock of the realization was a physical weight, pulling him out of his stupor. He pulled his hand away, the silence of the room suddenly feeling deafening. “...Who are you?”
The man retreated instantly, his movements fluid and respectful. He gave Wonwoo the space he needed, standing with his hands clasped loosely in front of him. He smiled then, a soft, sincere expression that made Wonwoo’s heart skip a beat. “My name is Kim Mingyu, Mr. Jeon,” he said softly. “I’m the one who’s been making sure you eat. I’m your private chef.”
Or after Wonwoo collapses from overwork, his best friend Jeonghan hires a private chef to help him recover.

Nothing is ever good about falling for a friend. There is nothing at all fulfilling about walking down ten flights of stairs with someone who is simultaneously your sunbae, roommate, and friend because the crappy lift in their student residence has broken down again, and realise, oh, you like him. He has a boyfriend, but you like him. But when Seungcheol does see reason and breaks up with his boyfriend by the end of the semester, Wonwoo is determined to find ways to seduce his friend.
Of course, Wonwoo did not account for Mingyu confessing to him at the end of summer break in his calculations.
