  1. Summary

Plant a Dragon's teeth and you can have an army of grown warriors, or so the legend said.

(Or: how the Hatake can either be born naturally or planted from a Hatake tooth, an offering of the flesh and the clan's White chakra.)

Alternatively known as that AU where the Hatake are actually Agricultural Experts and the Mokuton is an actual bloodline limit.

Will oscillate between humor and tragedy. Also full of (mostly Hatake) OCs alongside canon characters. I also don't take any of the pairings seriously, so some may not be to your taste.

    Read at your own risk.

  2. Summary

(Based on my original universe unofficially known as Children Destrane)

So...Lilili_cat's "Hidden in Stagnant Pools" was so sad and depressing one of my OCs decided to commit cross-fandom character theft and this was born.

"What are you planning now?" He gritted out finally. "What are you scheming, you bastard? Another of your plots? I won't fall for it!"

Aizen laughed, an oddly merry, carefree sound.

"Plots? Ichigo-kun... I don't plan anything." He said with amusement. "Time for plots and schemes is over. Or rather, I should say it is over, because there is no need for it anymore. Not at this point." Aizen bowed his head to Ichigo, smiling earnestly. "From the bottom of my heart... Thank you, Ichigo-kun."

"I smashed your plans to pieces, ripped through your arrancar and killed you-" Ichigo muttered, looking at former shinigami with confusion.

"Indeed, you did." Aizen nodded. "Well, almost." He added with a thoughtful frown. "Dealt mortal amounts of damage would be more appropriate, I believe. Dealt out splendidly, with a magnificent show of Vaizard power, I must point out." He said cheerfully.

    "...the hell you...?"

"I imagine you must be confused right now." Aizen chuckled. "I'm sorry. I'm getting ahead of myself."

"You... you are scheming something..." Ichigo growled, fists clenching. "You bastard, what have you-?!"

Aizen shook his head with exasperated amusement.

"I told you, Ichigo-kun. Time for scheming or plotting has come to an end." The ex-captain smiled. "You saw to that. Quite literally and thoroughly, if I might add." He sighed. "A shame, I'd have liked to see it to the end but... Well, what can you do?" The older man shrugged, smiling. "I wasn't so arrogant to believe this wouldn't happen." He took a sip form his cup. "Success has its price, as anything in this world."

"Success...?" Ichigo scowled. "Even if I didn't smash your arrancar - and you - Hogyoku's broken. I've seen the sorry state it is in." The blond smirked. "Inoue told me, you know. Now that we saved her, you have no way to repair it. It's broken for good."

"Broken? Oh my, is that what you think?" Aizen said with amusement.

"And what's so funny, bastard?" Ichigo growled. "I'm the one who should be laughing now. No more arrancar for you. Try to become god NOW." He said smugly.

"...Becoming a god?" Aizen shook his head. "And who said I want to become god?"

"Don't play games with me, bastard!" The blond scoffed. "Yamamoto told us all about it. The Ou Ken, Spirit King... Everything! And you said it yourself, didn't you?"

    Aizen nodded thoughtfully.

"I guess it might be seen that way." He admitted. "Though becoming god... Ah, not exactly. What I wanted was to surpass god. That was my intention. Quite a bit of difference there, Ichigo-kun."

"How is it any..." Ichigo blinked. "...Was?

"One speaks of successes in past tense, does he not?" Aizen said cheerfully, taking one of the cookies and chewing with obvious relish.

Ichigo glared at his nemesis suspiciously.

"I'm sorry, I imagine, from your point of view, I am not making much sense, do I?" Aizen said taking another cookie.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Gaara's walked on worlds that shouldn't exist, strange places that have no chakra, dead worlds. A few places he's been to he's seen strange sights, huge objects that land on the earthy sand and then fly away, soundlessly. Some of them are as large as his entire village.

He's witnessed creatures that look like animals walking on hind legs, creatures that talk in languages he's never heard before, who act like Gods. Gaara's found himself in places that he's only ever heard of in storybooks, places with silvery machines that he doesn't really recognise, although he knows what they are.

    their care.

Sosuke deserves better than a beta with a complex on his shoulders but Shinji is all he has, and they might just be what Ichimaru Gin needs to heal the scars left behind by his rough childhood.

As it turns out, they just might be what the other needs, too.

    Bookmarker's Notes

‘Sousuke,’ Suigetsu says once more, their masked face doing nothing to muffle the pain behind the voice. It causes a stab to go through Sousuke’s chest as he realizes that this is the first time he’s heard his zanpakuto since he shoved the hogyoku into his chest. This will be the first time in thousands of years that his zanpakuto spirit has gotten him to hear their desperate pleas.

“Kyouka Suigetsu,” Aizen replies, voice strained as his knees tremble. He feels so weak, so helpless as he faces his zanpakuto spirit, but he can do nothing to change this. He is no longer what he once was. He is so far past humbled that he will accept any punishment his spirit feels he deserves.

Instead of attacking him or turning their back on him, Suigetsu open their arms, their long-sleeved white kimono bared to Sousuke’s longing gaze. ‘Sousuke,’ they say again, their tone now imploring.

Sousuke sobs and pushes forward, collapsing into their waiting arms. The mirror world around them trembles, the sound of breaking glass fracturing around them. Sousuke doesn’t open his eyes, doesn’t wish to see how low he’s fallen, and instead stays within the steadying embrace. He keeps his eyes closed.
