There are so many phrases and words used in the ASOIAF universe that we would not intuitively use in everyday life. It's hard to keep track! So I decided to start making this "Instead of this - say this" guide for avoiding anachronisms. Comment below any phrases/replacements that YOU'VE noticed!
Note: Vocabulary used in the final two seasons of Game of Thrones does not count as canon/era-appropriate language... you know why.
