Summary
The decline in the road was sharper than he remembered. A sharp glare of headlights from behind nearly blinded him. Engines revved like snarling dogs in the quiet air. Their entourage rode along both lanes either heedless of danger or determined to get the job done. A bag of tricks involving a u-turn or two were shelved.
“Oh no.”
Leon squinted at the side and rearview mirrors. “What?”
“We have to plan a vacation after this. Our flyer miles expire soon.”
“We can’t have that many flyer miles.”
Carlos slammed on the brakes to drift around the curve of road. When he had the chance, he glanced at Leon with wide eyes.
“Oh god, we have so many flyer miles.” Leon covered his mouth with his palm.
After a routine pick up of his lover turns into a frantic car chase, Carlos and Leon are forced on the run to find out the cause. Which of them is the real target? What do their attackers want? More importantly, why won't Hunnigan let Leon call her by her first name? Let's find out the answers to some of these questions together.
