Summary
Dick is a Red Lantern. Jason's seen the footage, and he hates how helpless he feels, unable to do anything despite his life time of training and crime fighting. He may fight with them, but he loves his family, fucked up and fractured as they are.
When he's suddenly offered the option of becoming a Lantern himself, Jason jumps at the opportunity, and the promise of training to help him get Dick back on Earth where he belongs.
Jason has always thought of his feelings as burdensome, to love is to invite hurt; a lesson he's learned time and time again in his short life. Can he finally use them to save the most important person in his life?

They both know what they're doing is wrong, that it breaks every taboo and pack law they've been raised to follow. Yet, in the wake of Jason's near death, neither of them can deny themselves any longer.
Once they're ready, they'll tell Bruce the truth.Safe. It was a foreign word to him now. Jason understood it intimately while he was tucked close to Dick's chest, wrapped in his protective embrace, yet he also feared the illusion would shatter the second he let go, just like it had in his dreams. Just like it had in the car.
He must have made a noise, something pitiful, because Dick suddenly cradled him closer. Several minutes passed in silence, spare his brother’s soft rumbles, and Jason allowed his comforting pheromones to drift him far out to sea, far enough away that he couldn't see the shoreline and all the horrors that waited for him. He didn't want to think about what had happened, not yet.
Dick was here. That was enough for now.
