Summary
Two years had passed since Caesar had led the apes into the woods, to be free from captivity, to live freely in the woods. Two years since humans started getting sick and the world outside of the Muir Woods had fallen apart. In the first few days, they attempted to go after them. Sent soldiers into the woods to put them back into cages. The only disruption of their plans was their own destruction. The sickness spread quickly; the distant lights from the city soon fell into darkness. Fewer and fewer humans would be seen. Until now.
Alone and left for dead, Julia is taken in by Caesar and his colony. There the Ape King grants her a second chance and allows himself a chance to repay a debt to humans- by doing what his father did for him. After losing all of her family, Julia must learn to pick herself up from the pieces that remain and find family once more.
