Summary
Laid out on those satin sheets was the most beautiful man Shane had ever seen. He was broad and muscular, with miles of pale skin dotted with moles. His golden brown hair was mussed, the curls flopping over his prominent brow. The man’s arms were stretched wide, each of his wrists attached to the posts in his headboard with steel handcuffs, his rose-pink mouth pressed into a thin, annoyed line. He was like a Greek god, handsome and ethereal and cut from marble.
He was also completely fucking naked.
“Oh, holy—” Hayden exclaimed from over Shane’s shoulder.
“Many apologies,” the man drawled in a thick Russian accent. “I would have covered up, but,” he lifted his left hand, the links of the handcuff clattering against one another, “I am a little indisposed at the moment.”
(Or Shane is a firefighter and Ilya is his favorite frequent flyer)

"Shane," Bood says firmly. And it sounds so wrong, because Bood never calls him Shane. Shane is always Hollzy. And Bood's voice is supposed to be loud and steady, not shaky. And Shane finally, finally becomes aware enough of his surroundings to feel the trembling of Bood's hands against his waist. "Shane, please. They're working on him. We need to give them space so they can—so they can make sure he's okay."
"He's my husband," Shane chokes out, not quite managing to choke down the sob that's been building up long enough to boil over. Bood makes a similarly choked noise at that. "You need to let me go. He's my husband."
OR
Ilya gets injured on the ice during Shane's first season with the Centaurs. Shane loses his mind, a bit.

I’ve been invisible to everyone for the last three hundred years, remember?” Jealousy didn’t exist when you were just trying to be heard, much less seen. For years, all he had was the Moon and people who couldn’t interact with him.
Jealousy and Jack Frost don't mix well. Never mind the fact that he couldn't even recognize the emotion. Unfortunately, it also brings up the thought of "how much more time does this even have? Is it worth it?"

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Yuna was sad to think Shane felt the need to keep something from them. Why would he think he needed to keep a relationship from them? Did he think they wouldn’t like her? If she meant so much to Shane then they would love her! Was it because she’s a Boston fan? Yuna could see past that flaw. And being a fan of Boston was a flaw! Yuna needed a distraction. A task to help take her mind off Lily.
“I’m going to run by his place and pick him up some clothes. He’ll want something fresh to wear tomorrow.”

He shouldn’t go to Shane’s without him there. That would be an invasion of Shane’s space. But what else could Ilya do? He couldn’t go to the hospital? Even if he tried it would be past visiting hours, and who would let Ilya, his biggest rival, back to see Shane? No one. Ilya paced his hotel room two more times. Fuck it, he was going to Shane’s.

After the hit from Cliff Marleau Yuna finds Ilya Rozanov in Shane's bed when she goes to pick up some clothes from her son's house.
