Summary
Alex reluctantly submits to the stiffest, least romantic kiss of his life, then examines Henry's inexplicably impeccable everything from head to toe. "You look like you've been ironed."
For a fraction of a second, something flashes in Henry's eye—amusement or anger, Alex can't tell. Either way, it's the closest thing to an emotion he's ever managed to wring out of the deep-frozen bastard, so he's calling it a win.
"Much as I might prefer the application of red-hot metal to my bare skin over the current state of affairs, I've not been granted the relief of that alternative." Henry does something with his hand that makes all the staff start scurrying around—including, somehow, Alex's Secret Service detail. "It's nearly time for our intimate candlelit dinner. Are you adequately prepared to feign enjoyment of my company?"
"Is that a challenge?" Alex narrows his eyes. "Motherfucker, by the time I'm done you'll think I'm in love with you."

Many many feelings. So smart about the many feelings. Left me feeling lightly tenderized. In a good way.

Summary
“Murder?” I said.
“Murder, sir,” Jeeves answered.
“Murder?”
“Murder.”
“Surely you don’t mean murder, Jeeves.”
“That is in fact precisely my meaning, sir.”
“It is only that you seem to imply someone has lost their life on the premises, due to the nefarious and voluntary actions of some other, as yet undisclosed party, with great malice aforethought.”
“You have understood me completely, sir.”
“But Jeeves, that would mean murder.”Lieutenant Columbo is on the case. The soup, Bertie Wooster muses, has never been so thick.
