    Summary

The day everything started to go down in blazing, debris‑filled glory was the day Valentina Allegra de Fontaine told the New Avengers they needed to raise their teams’ morale and public trust with the American people. And, to the surprise of no one, Valentina’s fix for their cratering public image—despite the fresh scar tissue of what New Yorkers were bitterly dubbing “V-Day” just five months prior—was a glitzy app that was all things circling the New Avengers.

Who will be in charge of managing it?

Ava and Walker, despite Alexei’s extremely loud protest.

What they didn’t anticipate was one joke to derail somehow and end up with #Boblena going viral, with the entire world tuning in to find out if a former Black Widow and this strange man called “Bob,” who looked awfully like the silhouette of the entity who caused V-Day will be “end game.”

Or: Ava and Walker accidentally created #Boblena and decided to RUN with it.

    Summary

When Kate Bishop was suddenly called by Yelena Belova for an Avengers-scale emergency, she certainly wasn’t expecting to be greeted by five of the newest Avengers who had been changed into penguins.

Between nonstop honking, constantly hounding those slippery Waddlebolts (yes, she did come up with that on the spot), and a building rapidly filling with snow, Kate finds herself drafted into the most ridiculous babysitting gig of her heroic career—keeping a squad of super‑soldier penguins from mauling each other, destroying Avengers Tower, or giving Yelena a reason to roast them.

What she didn’t expect was that her greatest worry wasn’t going to be any of that, but a particular penguin who goes by Bob.

Or: Kate Bishop finds out more about her friend and her relationship with a very possessive person-turned-penguin who wants nothing more than for Yelena to be his mate.

“Why don’t you go back to sleep, hm? I’ll be back in a few hours, Sunshine. I’ll just…Bob?” Yelena was a bit startled when he unexpectedly tensed, his eyes snapping up suddenly. Her brows furrowed. “You okay?”
For a split second, something unfamiliar flickered across his face.
It was too quick to name, but it was enough to make her slightly worried. His arm slipped from around her waist as he shifted away, rolling onto his side with his back to her. Then, he tugged the comforter all the way up.

Or: One morning before leaving, Yelena called Bob “sunshine,” and it just about broke him.

    Summary

“There you are.” She whispers to the light, to Bob, to the life before that she wants back, “Wait for me. I’ll come get you.”

And, in response to her whispered promise, the sunlight said ‘I Love You’.

And Yelena Belova - The Black Widow, The Thunderbolt, The New Avenger, and so much more - always says it back.

    Summary

“You don’t get it…” Bob felt a terrific migraine beginning to throb behind his right eye. The pain would’ve triggered his laser vision if he wasn’t careful.

“Oh, what don’t I get?” Yelena asked, sounding as sincere as she did furious. “Tell me, please.”

Bob finally erupted, “If I lose you, I don’t have any reason to live anymore!!”

    The room went completely silent.

    or,
Yelena and Bob's first fight as a couple, in the leadup to Doomsday, and the resolution we all would need after such a painful thing.
