Summary
AU. 24 November 1994. In the medical tent after the First Task, Ron and Hermione visit Harry. Harry, annoyed by Ron’s poor apology, decides to annoy Ron in turn—and decides also to fulfill Harry’s secret desire—by giving Hermione a peck on the lips. Seconds later, Hermione gives Harry a passionate kiss. This makes both Harry and Hermione glow. It turns out, Harry and Hermione were unrecognised soulmates, now they’re magically married, and both are emancipated. It also turns out, a magical soulmate-marriage cancels any betrothal contract previously signed by a long-bearded magical guardian and a Confundused spark plugs-collector.
Later on, Lady Hermione Potter finds something surprising in the last pages of the Potter Grimoire, written by the previous Lady Potter.

He swipes through the pictures. Shane and Rozanov at their hockey camp. Shane and Rozanov at the press conference announcing their charity foundation thing. Shane and Rozanov at some press conference in matching jerseys - Joe thinks he vaguely remembers some big deal about the two of them playing on the same line for a one-off NHL event. Shane and Rozanov in a face-off on the ice, Rozanov smirking and, more unusual, Shane smiling widely. Huh.
Joe Airds thinks about Shane Hollander, and has to concede that he might have been the insensitive sports bro in this friendship.

Shane makes an interesting sound. Ilya’s head snaps up. Shane is making intense eye contact with the wall next to them, and he’s pink - pinker than he would usually be from being pressed against a door and kissed. And, crucially, he’s gone rock hard against Ilya’s thigh. Ilya is fucking delighted.
“Hollander,” he says. Thrilled. “There is a sex position that cures hiccups?”
