    Summary

Suddenly, lidded green eyes were far too close, noses bumping with every breath they sucked in together. Minty toothpaste and mouthwash burned his nose, clinging tightly to Fushiguro’s every exhale. He knew he would taste the same, tingly and just on the edge of painful. Itadori tried to connect their lips a few times, each time Fushiguro was faster. Soft pink mouth stayed just out of reach, torturous. A lilting laugh was pulled from Fushiguro’s lips when Itadori made his displeasure known around a whine that got stuck in his throat.

“What’s the matter, Tiger?” He smirked, letting his lips drag across the scar at the corner of Itadori’s own, dodging when he turned his head to try to connect them. “Something you want from me?”

    “A kiss, Megumi. Please.

    Or

Five times Spider-Man kissed Fushiguro Megumi and the one time Itadori Yuuji took his place.

    Summary

Healing isn't linear, and scars aren't milestones. They are the aftermath. To carry them is to carry memory: of pain, of survival, of how close things came to falling apart. But they are also boundaries, the body saying this is where I broke, and this is where I began again. In sharing them, in letting someone see what you were never supposed to survive, there is the beginning of something new.

There is a kind of intimacy in brokenness that love alone can reveal. To trace the lines someone hides, not with pity, but reverence, to look at what hurt them and not flinch, is a devotion deeper than words. Scars in that light become sacred: places where hands can linger, where softness returns, where one learns how to be gentle again. They are not imperfections, but maps to the places where love can rest its head.

    -

Megumi shows Yuuji, and Yuuji shows Megumi, that scars aren’t the shadows of what should’ve ended them; rather, they are the silver threads of survival.

The gleaming stardust left behind when the soul refused to dim.

    Summary

He doesn’t notice Megumi stirring until he feels fingers brush against his wrist.

    A soft tug, barely conscious.

“Get up here,” Megumi mumbles, voice hoarse with sleep. “You’ll get a crick in your back.”

    Yuuji blinks awake, confused. “Huh?”

Megumi doesn’t open his eyes. “And I don’t want you staring at me.”

There’s no bite in the words, just raw, drowsy honesty.

Yuuji stares at him for a beat longer, then slowly climbs up, blanket in tow, settling awkwardly onto the far edge of the bed.

Megumi and Yuuji, in the quiet inbetween of dusk and dawn.

    Summary

Megumi is slowly finding reasons to live in the form of a birthday party, a homemade cake, and a pink-haired idiot with a bright smile and an equally bright soul.

    ---

Megumi groaned. His heart was full, and he didn't know how else to express his happiness, so he did the only thing that felt right. He laughed.

The rest of the group stared at him, but Megumi couldn't care less. He was too busy trying to process the fact that his best friend decided to bake a cake for him and his other friends went to the trouble of planning a party.

"Fushiguro's laughing. Hey, Fushiguro's laughing. Did I really die and end up in some weird afterlife?" Kugisaki exclaimed, dramatically placing a hand on her forehead.
