Matthias💯: there's a giant rock monster ravaging the city
Benoit🥸: ???---
Paris has a population of two million people. Some of those people are superheroes. Some are villains. Some are civilians that consistently get caught in these heroes' and villains' messes.
Most are just bystanders. Some of these bystanders are kids. Some of these kids are the same age as the heroes and go to a different school.
Four of these kids have a group chat.

Monarch is defeated. Gabriel is dead. Nathalie is left to pick up the pieces.
(Was originally going to be multichapter, but I'm finding it impossible to write the rest of it, so take the first chapter as a one shot.)

Bookmarker's Notes
Loid discovers Yor's secret and tries to rationalize it.
(Beautifully written. Very cutting writing style. I'm not even sure what line from the fic to copy and paste here as a reminder of which fic it was, because every line is equally good.)

Summary
"They felt too young, too fresh from the jaws of a youth gone rancid to be pulling together a picket fence for two brothers who had been tossed around between parent figures often enough that it didn’t seem to mean much for them anymore."
Roy and Riza marry in secret to be eligible to adopt the Elrics and grant them parental consent to join the military. Roy didn't think the boys needed parents, Riza believed it was all they boys had ever needed. They both knew that they weren't at all prepared to take care of two young alchemists.
They'd handle it together, though, just like everything else.
OR
Roy, Riza, Edward, and Alphonse set off on the long and bumpy road to learning what it's like to have a family as the events of the series unfold around them.
