Summary
Being a part-time superhero doesn’t solve Will’s problems; instead, it adds to them. As Cleric, he’s forced to deal with his egotistical know-it-all of a partner, Paladin. As Will, he’s stuck hopelessly pining after his best friend. He’s honestly not sure which is worse.
One thing’s for sure, though — he needs a change. In one of his weaker moments, Will comes up with a plan: get over Mike by getting under someone else, someone he knows he won’t fall for.
Maybe Paladin is good for something, after all.

Summary
"We get it, you're hilarious. Now take these off, please, so I can go home."
"Sorry, man," Lucas says, shrugging. He stands from his spot on the floor to come to Max's side. "But it was getting bad. You've been weird since Stacey's party."
Or: Mike and Will refuse to admit what happened last Friday, and the Party has the perfect solution. 24 hours handcuffed to your best friend shouldn't be so bad, should it?

Summary
"Your Paladin won't be coming to save you," Dante said, lying through his teeth. It was perhaps the most obvious bluff he’d ever made, and if the way Will's eyebrows shot up was any indication, it showed.
Will's lip twitched, like he was fighting a laugh – or a scream. Dante preferred to think it was the latter. "Really? Did he tell you that?"
Or: A collection of one-shots in the Go Save the World universe!

Summary
In one swift movement, Mike pulls the box open, and what comes tumbling out isn't a feral stray - it's a kitten. A wet, trembling, scrawny kitten, with damp orange-and-black fur and big, frightened eyes, and Mike reaches a hand out without a second thought. He strokes two fingers over the kitten's back, and it leans into the touch, a tentative purr leaving its throat.
Or: Mike finds a kitten in an alleyway, and gets more attached than he intends to.

Summary
April 7th dawns like every other day, and it's not until Will throws a Kit-Kat at him that he realizes there's something amiss. He blinks the sleep from his eyes and stares up at where Will's standing, watching him with something like expectation in his face.
"Happy Birthday," Will says. There's the faintest hint of a smile on his face, barely reaching his eyes.
Mike blinks. Once, then twice, and when the third time brings no more clarity, he manages to force out a "What?"
Or: Three birthdays where Mike's life is vastly different, but one thing always stays the same.

Summary
Mike Wheeler has survived monsters, alternate dimensions and the literal end of the world.
Unfortunately, he has no idea how to survive Will Byers in New York; confident, teasing, and somehow making Mike's dick develop a mind of its own.
A list. A rating system. Zero self-control.
It's just an experiment.
Definitely not a way to avoid admitting he's in love with his best friend.
Or: Mike Wheeler gets hit with the world's worst gay panic, and Will Byers has been waiting years to enjoy the show.

These soon-to-be graduates of Hawkins High have to spend this time finishing missing assignments, helping the prom committee regardless of interest in such a thing, and... oh, yeah. Speaking to each other for the first time in six months.
This is going to be a long day.
