Summary
Set in the early 2000’s in a small town.
Yunho has lived in this town all his life and chose to stay back, not entirely out of his own will but more so out of an obligation he placed on himself. He has a simple life, attends church, takes care of his parents and farm animals. He doesn’t expect to find himself drawn to the gas station worker.
Mingi wanted to run away from this damned town, as far away from his father as possible, but is stuck here working and living in a gas station. However, once he starts watching the church boy who passes by the station for mass on Sunday mornings, his life doesn’t seem so horrible anymore.
The two men find escape in each other, but it leaves Yunho choking on guilt, and Yunho’s guilt leaves Mingi resentful, like he's just some sin Yunho keeps committing and trying to wash off.

Summary
He’s different, Jaemin is, in ways that only someone who once knew him as well as Mark did would notice. This weariness that clings to him…Mark wonders how long it’s been there. And Mark knows they haven’t been talking for very long, but he hasn’t seen Jaemin smile—really, properly smile—even once. Even the way he sits, shoulders hunched over like the weight of the world is bearing down on him, isn’t like him. Mark has to wonder what the industry has done to his Jaeminie.
(Mark's first friend, first crush, first kiss, first love is an idol. And he’s falling to pieces as the whole world watches.)

Summary
"What did you do?" Jeno asked.
"Isn't it obvious? I let him go."
"You're a fool."
"Aren't we all?" Jaemin said. "That's just how love runs its course. It doesn't care if something fits, only if it sticks. You can’t blame me for bending to the will of it."
"Dramatics must run in the family. You're just as bad as Jaehyun."
Jaemin shot him a look. "You're the second person to call me dramatic today."
or
Jaemin is a heartbroken undergraduate, and Jeno is a bored gas station worker.
