Summary
Addison hears the entire hospital calling Meredith Grey 'Six Flags' and assumes it's some weird Seattle surgical slang. Turns out it's because Meredith is the human equivalent of a theme park: thrilling rides, zero commitment, and everyone leaves satisfied but emotionally whiplashed.
Or, I was inspired by Off Campus' Dean Di Laurentis comparing himself to Six Flags when he tells Allie he is "a good time, not a long time"

Summary
Meredith Grey arrives in New York for a prestigious six-month rotation at Mount Sinai with one goal, graduate from medical school and keep everyone at arm’s length.
After a painful betrayal, she’s sworn off letting people get too close.
Then she meets Dr. Addison Montgomery.
Addison is brilliant, elegant, and one of the most respected neonatal surgeons in the country. She’s also married.
What begins as long hours in operating rooms and late-night conversations turns into something far more dangerous as admiration gives way to friendship, friendship gives way to longing, and the line between right and wrong becomes impossible to ignore.
They only meant for it to be temporary.
Until walking away becomes the one thing neither of them knows how to do without breaking.

Summary
They hate each other.
That’s the only thing Meredith Grey and Addison Montgomery can agree on.
Until the tension lingers too long, the arguments cut too deep, and the distance between them becomes impossible to keep.
Because sometimes hate isn’t the opposite of love.
Sometimes it’s the beginning of it.
