Mrs Bennet has a moment of reflection upon watching Mr Collins' instant transfer of attentions from Jane to Elizabeth on learning of the former's suitor, and the clarity she finds there alters everyone's lives around her. Parents were once young people with hopes, dreams and lives of their own as well, after all, and Mrs Bennet's own backstory can shed light on her new mindset and behaviour. Her greatest wish was for all of her children to be settled and married, secure in their husbands and their futures. Only now, does she also wish for her children to settle for nothing less than the utmost love and respect as well. How can a newly protective and increasingly aware Mrs Bennet save her children from the smooth talking Wickham and is she able to get her most stubborn child to see Mr Darcy as anything but rude, proud and disagreeable? HEA for all the Bennet sisters I promise.
