Summary

Summary
The virus’s external proteins are perfectly shaped to bind to the target cell’s receptors. Convinced that the pathogen is a helpful molecule, the cell lets it in. A virus cannot survive without a host.
Tim was never meant to be Robin. He knows he is sneaking his way into the space left by Jason and hijacking Bruce's family for himself, but he can't stop. He needs this to survive.

“Just leave me alone,” Tim says, shaking his head. He can hear his voice disappear into the bricks around him, but he knows Jason is listening. “I’m having a really bad day right now. Unless you have an actual, non-bogus case, I don’t want to talk to you.”
Boots slam into the pavement as Jason leaps down from a fire escape. Theater kid, Tim thinks. He could have just walked. “Well, Replacement, it’s your lucky day.”
Jason would be a whole lot less annoying if Tim could just convince him that Bruce isn't abusive.

Summary
Dick and Jason collect Tim to tell him about the Batarang Incident and some of Dick's arguments with Bruce. They were expecting...disbelief, sure. Anger, certainly. Maybe even fear. But not...this.
Tim is confused. Sure, the situation's a bit messed up, and clearly Tim's failed to keep Batman in control, but he doesn't know why Jason and Dick are freaking out.
