Surprisingly, Itadori breaks out into a toothy grin. “Hey, Fushiguro!”
Megumi doesn’t even have time to feel irrationally pleased that Itadori remembers his name before he blurts, “Can you watch my dogs?”
Confusion clouds Itadori’s face, his head tilted to the side, brows furrowed, not unlike Kuro and Shiro when they’re trying to make sense of something. “What?”

Megumi lives in a non-pet-friendly apartment with his two dogs. Itadori is his new neighbor. A leaky sink and a surprise visit from the landlord bring them together.
It's a good thing Itadori likes dogs.

Summary
During a mission, Yuji accidentally falls into Megumi’s shadow. Neither of them knows how he got in, why Ten Shadows lets him stay, or why Megumi can recognize him inside it as easily as he recognizes himself.
Trying to figure it out should probably involve less kissing.

Summary
Megumi licks his lips and tries to rationalise the fact that he’s staring, openly, at Yuuji. “Itadori,” he says, softer than he means to, “I think we should sleep together tonight.”
After a tiring mission, Megumi and Yuuji are faced with the aftermath of a blizzard that leaves them trapped in a remote, snowed-in cabin. With little space, not much to do, and a temporary living situation that proves to be more comfortable than they thought, they're forced to confront each other and their exposed emotions with nothing left between them.

“Maki.” Yuji crosses over to her in the last few steps, turning warily over his shoulder, away from the cake and the bar and the hydrangeas and facing out from the beautiful reception room. He stands to face her instead and tries to tilt his head in the right way to read her gaze. “What’s wrong? Did something happen?”
For a prolonged moment, she worries her lip between her teeth and stares at him like she’s trying to find a way to cut him open without hitting any vital organs.
“Itadori,” she says softly, and he thinks of the unread texts, and his world starts to collapse, just a little. Maki sighs. “You’re not going to like this.”
On the day Yuji and Megumi are to be married, hours before the ceremony, Megumi disappears. Yuji sets out to find him and bring him home.

Itafushi Week Day 1: firsts | promises
The voice murmurs something else, and there’s a shifting and a settling as the person sits down fully beside him. Yuji blinks back tears and listens through a haze. It sounds like the insides of his eardrums are burning. He feels fire nipping at his fingers. It did that once before, he remembers. He remembers.
“It’s Fushiguro,” the voice says.
Yuji finds himself in the midst of a panic attack. Megumi steps in to provide comfort and walks him through it.
