Summary
Okay, he thinks to himself. You could be mistaken. I mean, come on, there's no possible way that Peter Parker is—
Except.
The more he thinks about it, the more sense it makes.
The unexplained absences. How he started falling asleep in his class when he'd been nothing but a model student beforehand. The lack of any asthma attacks for the last few months. The sudden disappearance of his glasses. The so-called Stark internship.
Aw, dang it.
Peter Parker is Spider-Man.

Grace knew that there were going to be cultural differences between Eridians and humans.
Rocky knew this, too, but no matter how foolish humans could be, even the densest of them knew this was courting, right? Right??

AKA Grace keeps doing things that Rocky percieves as courting (per Eridian traditions) and is entirely clueless about it-

Summary
After 27 years, Earth's Hail Mary comes through. The world has been forever changed, and billions died because of the Astrophage crisis, but space agencies have done their best to survive and keep their telescopes pointing to Tau Ceti. After the beetles are spotted, Eva Stratt forces her way into the CSA office to learn what the Hail Mary crew discovered. Downloading the data is slow and happens in pieces, so the team has to try piecing together what happened out in the Tau Ceti system.
Eva Stratt is faced with the reality of what she did to Grace, watching him deal with the situation she put him in, leading to a complex mix of emotions. Part of her wishes things could have been different. But she knows that wishing on a star is useless.

Grace didn't have much of anything these days. Eva feels like the breath is knocked out of her lungs when the man walks in.
Dirty blond hair. Blue eyes. Sort of like… if Ryland Grace was hit by a car several times. It was undeniably him.
“So you’re Eva Stratt,” The man says gruffly, slamming both hands on her desk. He looked exactly like Ryland, it was terrifying. It felt like watching a ghost haunt her in real life.

In loco parentis (Latin): "in the place of a parent." A legal term denoting the responsibility of an institution or individual for a child in the absence of the child's parent or guardian. In education, this responsibility is shared between the school and the teacher.

Summary
Rocky and Grace have been alone for so long, that it was only natural that they became (perhaps unhealthily) attached to the only other person they could interact with for several years. Separating them, even for very necessary reasons, isn't fun for either of them.
When Rocky gifts Grace a stuffed animal to ease the loneliness, Grace quickly becomes almost just as attached. Rocky, on the other hand, starts to wish that Grace would (and could) hold him like that.-----
This is kind of a companion fic to my other PHM fic Alienation & Recovery, and is mostly compliant with it, but you don't need to read that to understand this one :]- Language:

Summary
While working on solving the issue of Grace slowly dying of starvation, malnutrition, and a host of other issues, the Eridians discover the human internet (largely Wikipedia) and fall down a rabbit hole of trying to figure out everything they can about the needs of their squishy alien savior. While most of their focus is on the food issue, another link catches their (metaphorical) eyes.
"Touch starvation, also known as touch deprivation or skin hunger, is the physiological need by humans and other species for physical contact with their own species or other living beings."
No one is happy about this.

Summary
“Preliminary conclusion: either the French drug failed due to a manufacturing defect, or I am genetically annoying. Congratulations, evolution. You finally decided to give me a useful mutation besides myopia and a worrying degree of astigmatism.” Grace suddenly felt tired, so very tired. He was just a man, for God's sake! A middle school science teacher who gave everything for his kids, and it still wasn't enough. What did they expect from him here? The rest of the crew was dead; he was a man abandoned in the void. He understood Stratt's actions, even though he hated every second of it.
Alternatively, Ryland Grace remember everything.
