I watched one edit of Rarry to Black Friday by Tom Odell and have decided to make it everyone’s problem.Summary: Ron is struggling to cope in the wake of tragedy, trauma, and being in love with his best friend. It took eight years, but Ron is no longer in denial about his feelings for Harry. Which sounds like a good thing, “progress”, but for Ron it’s torture. Ron feels dirty and ruined, while Harry remains beautiful and untouchable. Grief is suffocating them all.
This story will get pretty dark at times- heed the warnings. But it is a hurt/comfort

Beta read by the lovely Empress_Stick, thanks so much for dealing with my complete lack of being able to stick to the right tense. The post this is is all based on is this one by @personaparadise. aka I sent this to my friends, I joked about it becoming a fic and here I am almost 2k words later.
My comment:
Oh, this was a treat I can't say I was ever anywhere close to expecting!
I really loved the bouncing perspective giving the same events and dialogue, but the completely different focus of character and thoughts!
It's so interesting to see the alternate fools interact in things like this. Seeing the self-loathing, and how Adachi saw it? It's a great way to have them as a foil, and always just wonderful seeing ideas of them after the finales of their games. Interesting always to see the post P4 Adachi, because it already puts an interesting spin of "playing along" given the letter after he's put away in golden. And then with Sho in arena's interactions plus reference in here? The shared lost look?
The little details of change for control mentioned here too? The shopping of Akechi gives such feeling of regaining the control. The still "nice" but not the white, both away from the past, and not the purity? And the hair? A step of personal control and difference, both the mentioning of his mother, and as a step away from the conformity? (Both as finally away from the spotlight and Shido, but also the little time as Phantom Thief affecting him?)
Then the little bits of Nanako? Young enough that this still works even a few years after 4, and the little interactions, how just endearing to everyone and the way it influenced it going forward. The little bits were all so nice, and the thinking of the ribbons? (Coincidence, or subtle notice of cognition without knowing? (On that note, while it's not something we normally see I cannot say how much I love the seeing/feeling of his personas around. It isn't something really in the older games, and the interactions in canon are mostly just druing awakening, but it's so interesting.))
Adachi as himself, kinda like I threw Akechi. Pretty interesting. Seems to be acting like he doesn't care, but he wouldn't have done anything if he really didn't. And specifically not telling Dojima? Ah such a treat. Clever with the interactions too, we knew he was smart and just pissed with not everything he wanted, and using this? He knows Goro knew, so that influencing the rest (and especially the sending him to pickup Nanako to hide the phonecall?!) I mean, was it really that far, considering next time at Junes?
Smaller thing, but the little details were so nice (obviously the glove was a bigger one), but use of things. Not unreasonable to have a sibling Nanako's age with one of the social links, and Daiskue was one of the nice ones (always good to think back considering the exclusive per run links). And then for Yu, the specific term of the "Saintly" patience?
I just really loved this, and am excited with the hope for more!
