    “Danny…”
    “And that’s what you do when you met a girl you like… You ask her out!”
    “Danny…”
    “Wait, don’t tell me… The hike was your idea of a date, wasn’t it? How many times should I tell you that girls want food, and wine, and…”
    “Danny!!!” Steve’s shout finally succeeds in shutting Danny up. Even if only for a brief moment.
    “What Steven?”
    “She is an alpine guide. It's literally her job to show me around, as you have eloquently put it.”

    Or... A series of phone calls between Danny and Steve while he's busy traveling the world and finding himself. They bicker, they miss each other, they laugh and maybe... Maybe they stop fooling himself in the process.

    Set in the same universe as The Long Way Home, but it can be read as stand-alone.
