Summary
Aogami is having a hard time expressing his feelings for Ren. He feels as if the young man has been avoiding for quite sometime but what he didn't expect was an apology. Both of them open up to each other and solidify that their fusion is more than skin deep.
“It brings me joy knowing I can be of service to you, Ren. I’ll always be by your side no matter what decision you make.”
“You’re always so affable. Thank you for caring for me,” Ren whispered.
“Not only is it my duty to care for you but It’s also my own volition. You are my other half, my knowledge and my soulmate. It is destined that I provide you with everything I can.” Aogami confidently professed, as he softly caressed the young man’s cheek. The Proto-Fiend etched every detail of Ren’s alluring face, from his tender sea moss colored eyes down to his supple lips. But Ren was no fragil human, he was strong in his ways and able to endure anything thrown at him and Aogami was more than satisfied to grant him access to his body.

Summary
Demons that submit to someone’s command threw away their free will. Their lives belonged to the stronger one. It was a common and accepted order of things amongst demonfolk. Demi-Fiend, however, would rather crunch on his horn than blindly follow someone, even after reincarnating into a true demon. Even when he was sitting on his knees, defeated, under Nahobino’s blade, when silky blue hair pooled down on the floor as the rightful winner sat against him face to face, holding a single Life Stone on an open palm, he would’ve chosen death over servitude.
“I don’t need your servitude. I want your strength. Would you stay by my side, please?” - only then did he accept salvation.
He didn’t know why he still yearned for independence despite being a full demon, but Nahobino was pissing him off saying stuff like “Sounds like you’re still human deep inside” and “You know that’s not how demons act.” And right now, that manipulative bastard did the same thing - implied that Demi-Fiend refused to follow the orders because he was still Naoki Kashima. And he. Was. Not.

There was a boy sitting on the bleachers.
To be honest, Derek wouldn’t have given him the time of day normally, but there were a few things that struck him as odd. Firstly, there was still a good thirty minutes before school let out. Secondly, the boy was silently staring out towards the preserve with a pensive expression. Thirdly, he had no scent, and his heartbeat was non-existent.
Okay, maybe he should have led with that, but the point was, there was a boy sitting on the bleachers, and Derek seemed to be the only one who could see him.

The first time Obi-Wan met Jango, they were both slaves on Bandomeer. He’d been 12, Jango 21. The older man had protected him, kept him safe—at least until the slavers loaded him up onto a spice transport and disappeared. Obi-Wan didn’t see him again, and by the time he worried about his friend, well. Qui-Gon had rescued him and Xanatos was gone.
After that, he spent months running around the galaxy, sometimes with Qui-Gon, sometimes with others, sometimes alone. Melida/Daan. Mandalore. Phindar. A dozen other planets or more.
And then Naboo, where it all went wrong.
(OR the one where Obi-Wan met Jango during their stints as slaves and meet again on Kamino. And then Jango kidnaps him, because of course he does.)
