Stiles is very thrown out of it. Losing his father, moving to a new place, away from his home and friends. Helping 5-0 with cases and then helping introduce them into the supernatural because werewolves are real even in paradise it seems.
Oh and also, seems like Derek followed him. That's kinda awesome...except Steve and Danny are super, mega protective and hate his guts cos they think something is going on. Is there? Maybe. But they read into it waaaaay before anything actually happens.

Summary
After feeling neglected by the pack and on the brink of falling too deep into his own misery, Stiles gets his internship in the FBI. It changes him. He's become one hell of a badass, a man's man, the guy you want handling any Hail Mary's. It works for a while, but eventually, his inability to work well with others causes concerns. He's sent to Hawaii, placed into the Five-Oh task force.
They're wary of him, thinking he might be a sort of plant from the Governor to keep an eye on what's really going on in Five-Oh. Stiles is wary of them because...he doesn't want to be part of a team. He doesn't want to work with others like that, he doesn't want to rely on anyone who will let him down again.
Five-Oh quickly learns what Stiles is about and slowly they help him heal. Stiles fights it, but Five-Oh is built of some of the best people who prove themselves with actions as well as words. It all seems to be going well...until Braeden shows up on the island bringing supernatural trouble to Stiles's doorstep.
Stiles's reasons for being standoffish aren't because he's still struggling with trusting the team, but are now because he's trying to keep them safe from the supernatural.

“Not only is it my duty to care for you but It’s also my own volition. You are my other half, my knowledge and my soulmate. It is destined that I provide you with everything I can.” Aogami confidently professed, as he softly caressed the young man’s cheek. The Proto-Fiend etched every detail of Ren’s alluring face, from his tender sea moss colored eyes down to his supple lips. But Ren was no fragil human, he was strong in his ways and able to endure anything thrown at him and Aogami was more than satisfied to grant him access to his body.

Even when he was sitting on his knees, defeated, under Nahobino’s blade, when silky blue hair pooled down on the floor as the rightful winner sat against him face to face, holding a single Life Stone on an open palm, he would’ve chosen death over servitude.
“I don’t need your servitude. I want your strength. Would you stay by my side, please?” - only then did he accept salvation.
He didn’t know why he still yearned for independence despite being a full demon, but Nahobino was pissing him off saying stuff like “Sounds like you’re still human deep inside” and “You know that’s not how demons act.” And right now, that manipulative bastard did the same thing - implied that Demi-Fiend refused to follow the orders because he was still Naoki Kashima. And he. Was. Not.

There was a boy sitting on the bleachers.
To be honest, Derek wouldn’t have given him the time of day normally, but there were a few things that struck him as odd. Firstly, there was still a good thirty minutes before school let out. Secondly, the boy was silently staring out towards the preserve with a pensive expression. Thirdly, he had no scent, and his heartbeat was non-existent.
Okay, maybe he should have led with that, but the point was, there was a boy sitting on the bleachers, and Derek seemed to be the only one who could see him.

After that, he spent months running around the galaxy, sometimes with Qui-Gon, sometimes with others, sometimes alone. Melida/Daan. Mandalore. Phindar. A dozen other planets or more.
And then Naboo, where it all went wrong.
(OR the one where Obi-Wan met Jango during their stints as slaves and meet again on Kamino. And then Jango kidnaps him, because of course he does.)

It's a little weird, that people seem to give up their seats for him, and the token he leaves Obi-Wan as a calling card makes Master Windu's eyebrows raise higher than he's ever seen, but Jango is thoughtful, and kind, and listens when Obi-Wan talks. There can't be that much else to it.

"Where are we going?" Stiles finally asks, as soon as it matters, which is later than he's expecting. They've been on the road for half an hour already. The old Stiles would pester Derek every other second for information; the new Stiles is quiet, too quiet, too still. Derek notices, of course he does, but then, that's why they're leaving, isn't it. To try and get the old Stiles back. To give him a fucking break.
"To the coast," Derek says, reaching over to turn on the heat when he notices Stiles curled into himself on the seat, buried in his jacket, arms crossed around his torso. It shouldn't be cold; it's early October, and the air is still warm. Stiles shouldn't be cold, but he shouldn't be alive, either, so he has to take what he can get.
