It has been ten years since the White Martian Invasion and the formation of the League of Nations. Queen Lara is preparing to finally step down, and pass the crown to Prince Kal.
Prince Bruce has spent much of his time traveling abroad, returning to Gotham Castle intermittently for months or years at a time before venturing back out into the world.
This time is different. This time, he’s returning for an extended stay.
Or: the tale of two princes finding each other, and themselves.

TourettesDog wrote a prompt on the Haunting Heroes Discord server, and I took it and ran with it.
It’s far from done, I’m just writing scenes in no particular as I figure the story out. These are snippets of what I’ve got so far.

Summary
We all know Alastor's story. He made a deal with Vox which backfired in the worst of ways. To him, those seven days were utter hell, a price to pay for his freedom. So what if every moment were torture? He got what he wanted in the end.
But there's two sides to every coin.
Vox was on top of the world. He was taking control of the Pride Ring, he was running that stupid Princess's hotel to the ground, but most importantly, he had that cocky, annoying, smarmy, beautiful, petty bastard deer in his grasp. He hated everything that Alastor was, everything he represented. His plan was to show Alastor his own victory over Heaven until they both knew who the better one was. Unfortunately, their proximity meant grappling with desires he thought was long since gone.

But no matter, thinks Alastor. He is prepared this time. Since the last episode, he has taken extensive notes, completed thorough research, performed a few subtle interrogations, and he has a six-point plan to bring Lucifer back to himself.

Alastor, Lord of the Autumn Court, is in a contract that will force him to wed Vox, Lord of the Winter Court, at the beginning of his fiftieth year as King. The contract demands that he be married before the Winter Solstice, but that no Fae save Vox may claim his hand, nor he theirs.
Lucifer Magne is a widower and newly single father struggling to pull his life back together in the wake of his beloved wife's passing.
Alastor's oldest friend, Husk, is seeking a loophole to save him from the betrothal before time runs out. The contract never forbade Alastor from seeking a mortal bride, after all.
