Kakashi was tired.
A couple times he still second guessed himself. Wondered if it would be better to fail the team and let whatever happens to them happen.
But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had to. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.

That made Caprikid blush, realizing how stupid he’d been. “I hate playing this game with you. You always win.” Sometimes when the two holders had free time, they liked to try and scare each other.
Rooster Bold grinned at him with nothing but pure smugness. “And you still haven’t given me my prize.”
Caprikid playfully rolled his eyes, looking around briefly before leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to Rooster Bold’s cheek.
“Hey, come on, that was my twentieth win in a row.” Rooster whined. “I don’t get a special prize for that?”
“No wonder you have the pretension miraculous.” Caprikid teased, but still leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his boyfriend's lips.
OR: When Miraculous holders use their powers for a long enough time, they tend to get the personality traits of their Kwami's. Nathaniel worries about becoming somebody new and what it might all mean for him and Marc. Marc just wants Nathaniel to embrace what's already there.
OR OR: Kwami lore that literally no one asked for. The headcanon that Kwami's essentially fuse with their holders and it causes actual changes to their personality and character.

“Craig, aren’t you gonna say something?” Token asked worriedly as he kept glancing over at the counter in Tweak Bros’ Coffee.
Some guy was leaning against the counter and occasionally brushing Tweek's arm while using cheesy pick-up lines on him.
Craig glanced up from his phone briefly, blinking a few times, then he looked back down. “No.”
“Y-Y-You don’t c-care that your boy- your boy-“ Jimmy huffed. “That Tweek is g-getting hit on?”
“He can handle himself.” Craig told them all dismissively.
“That’s not…really the point, dude.” Clyde mumbled, glancing back over at Tweek nervously.
OR: Their friends think Craig needs to do better in the boyfriend department. But they don't see the ten thousand ways he makes Tweek happy.

Craig wracked his brain for an explanation. Tweek shouldn’t be crying anymore, it didn’t make any sense.
Maybe he was cold?
Craig got up and snatched the blanket from the living room. He wrapped it around Tweek like a burrito.
But Tweek still cried.
“Come on, honey…there’s no reason to cry…” Craig insisted worriedly, rubbing Tweek’s uninjured arm comfortingly.
Tweek just hiccupped and heaved.
OR: Tweek gets hurt while playing superheroes. Super Craig patches him up, but it's not enough to stop Tweek's tears. How else is he meant to make this boy smile?

“You realize the solution is to just sit him down and have a conversation, right?” Kyle asked him, blinking slowly. “I mean like, the stakes have never been lower, dude.”
Tweek groaned and rested his head on the counter of the coffee shop. He was technically on shift, but business was pretty slow today. “D-Don’t just dismiss my woes!"
“Dude, this is a stupid problem to have, get over it.” Kyle told him bluntly.
“Ngh- come on! You’re telling me y-you wouldn’t care if S-Stan never t-tried to be romantic?”
Kyle snorted and sipped his coffee. “I’ve been dealing with Stan’s overly romantic bullshit since I can remember. I’m maxed out on my level of romance tolerance. Not every day has to be something out of a romcom.”
OR: Craig doesn't always think to be romantic and it makes Tweek sad. Kyle enlists Kenny to fix the problem in the best way he knows how:
Flirt with the taken man.
OR OR: Kenny flirts with Tweek just to get on Craig's nerves and to get him to treat Tweek more romantically, and it works very, very well.
