His face looked relaxed, unbothered, like he was out for a Sunday drive. But Thomas knew better, he could read his friend’s body language like a book.
Rick’s knuckles were bloody on both hands, the hand on the steering wheel almost white with the force of his grip. Every muscle Thomas could see under his overpriced suit was tensed. The fingers on the hand draped over Sophia’s shoulder were twitching slightly.
Rick was in combat mode, probably armed, and ready to spring the moment he felt he or his charges were being threatened.

“Let me guess,” said Hannibal, mouth twitching, threatening to break out into a proud smile. “Amy Allen?”
Stockwell nodded.
“And her source?” Asked Face.
Stockwell smirked dryly, leaning back in his chair. “Colonel Roderick Decker, U.S. Army, retired.”
