The box is nondescript, identical to all the other storage boxes except for the blunt ‘Life-Ending Measures’ label printed across the top. Inside are three smaller boxes, each with names engraved into the metal.

The last one catches Grace off-guard. He’s expecting it to belong to DuBois, but DuBois’ chosen method had been nitrogen poisoning, and all the nitrogen had been stored with the rest of the chemical resources in the lab. Grace’s access to it had been the only reason he was able to wipe out both Taumoeba leaks in time.
DuBois wouldn’t have needed anything else; no final lethal dose like Ilyukhina or bullets like Yáo.
But there are three boxes here. And on the third, etched in neat letters, is Grace.

Immediately, I grinned, holding a hand over my mouth to contain the sudden, unexpected bubble of laughter. I grabbed the tool from the floor and straightened back up, taking a careful step forward to get a better look. Not only was he snoring, but his mouth was hanging slightly ajar, and he was actually drooling. Right onto his workbench.
I pressed my hand harder against my mouth, containing the laughter. His short-cropped hair was slightly disheveled, and he still held a wrench loosely in his grip. He continued to snore, a deep, vibrating rumble on every inhale.

I almost laugh. Almost. “No, bud. I’m not talking about science stuff. I think I'm leaking amniotic fluid."
All five of Rocky's limbs go stiff. “What Grace mean, question?”
Now, I know Rocky isn't dumb. Dude has a practically perfect memory, for crying out loud, and I've told him all of this before. Bless him, he's unsure of himself. He's nervous. This is all completely foreign to him.
I take a deep breath, steeling myself. “I mean it's go-time, buddy."｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆
The Petrova task force didn't know Rylie Grace was pregnant when they sent her to space. Grace didn't know either.
After successfully sending the beetles back to Earth, a few months into their journey to Erid, Grace gives birth on the Hail Mary with only Rocky there to help.
