Run like hell. The moment the dome breaks, you run– there is no time to even attempt at fixing it. So don’t even try; you run because survival is all that matters– because they will not hesitate; they’ve gotten faster– so speed is something you need on your side, and quick reaction time. Do not stop; you keep going– the moment you hesitate, you are gone before you can even process properly that you’re being torn apart and razor teeth and sharp nails are sinking into you.
So you run, and as cruel as it is– do not try to go back for someone– do not help, because the one you’re trying to help will leave you for dead in a heartbeat; it's not a conscious choice… we are all human at the end of the day, but still. You do not help the other person. You focus on you and you alone.
Always keep the ships at the harbor stocked, stocked with food, water and blankets– it gets cold out in the ocean. And most importantly, first aid.
