So begins Shen Yuan’s balancing act of completing these nonsensical missions, hiding his identity, and staying on the good side of the super tsundere, cat-like man known as Shen Jiu, who keeps saying stuff like ‘I’ll kill you if I find out you’re a demon’.
TDLR; this whole fic is an elaborate excuse to write catboy!SY going into heat.

The first chapter is the reunion, the second is a surprise, and the third is going to be Iskandar coming to the Druid Street Apartments for the first time. More tags to be added as I go, of course.
This is set after the events of the Casefiles Anime SEASON ONE, and not based on the events of the light novel. The light novels are too complicated! I have read them all now, I just don't want to factor them all in, or I might take elements of them for stuff. Also this fic updates yearly on Waver's birthday because I'm very busy with my other series! BUT FRET NOT THIS IS NOT ABANDONED AND NOT FORGOTTEN! Just updates glacially!
