Summary
Truth be told, Dazai made no effort to contradict Fukuzawa when he delivered the envelope with the details of this mission with a little sticky note, clearly in Mori’s handwriting, stating that he’d have to cooperate with the man Dazai vowed to kill at the ripe age of fifteen and has a track record of seven years of absolute failure. Not that Dazai has ever tried hard enough to get closer to his goal, though—not that he’s actually tried at all, for that matter.
Or: Five times Dazai fumbled an opportunity to confess his feelings, and one time he does something about it.

Summary
“Remember how I promised to keep you safe? To never let you leave again?”
Chuuya’s lips tremble as he continues to stare at something invisible, murmuring bites of words to himself.
“This is it,” Dazai says and, grasping hold of his chin, he firmly guides Chuuya’s face to look at him. “You are not allowed to leave me, so wherever you currently are, snap out of it and come back to me.”
— or: waking up in a disturbingly familiar cage leaves Chuuya in pieces. Dazai reflects on their past to see how they got here and how to bring Chuuya back. A retelling of Beast.

They've switched places, he realizes. Now Oikawa's the one looking in.
(Tooru watches Tobio. Kageyama has always wanted a teacher, and now he has too many to count. Oikawa is not one of them.)

Summary
Maybe it’s irrational, but even in their third year, Tsukishima kind of can’t stand Kageyama. The king is no longer a tyrant, but there’s something about him—his unwillingness to yield, his single-minded focus—that just gets under Tsukishima’s skin.

Summary
“How many did you eat, Kageyama?” Hanazawa asks once more, rushing towards the table and collecting the tupperware filled with contraband.
“Um…” He stares down at the half-eaten brownie still in his hand. “Three?”
“Does that include that one?”
He looks up at Hanazawa. “Am I gonna die?”
