"It only now dawned on Trowa just how new and foreign the concept of little gestures of affection like this were to him, something everyone else took for granted. Trowa never saw himself as an emotional person. Emotions had no place on the battlefield, and he had once thought himself incapable of displaying anything like happiness or sorrow. But he didn’t want to go back to constantly being stoic or on guard all the time. Rather than the sound of gunfire and explosions, he wanted to fill his days with laughter and the sight of Quatre’s beaming smile."
When Trowa learns about the concept of tickling, it occurs to him that he has never experienced the mundane, every day things that people who never experienced war and destruction take for granted, making him wonder if he needs to do more in his new life with Quatre. Good thing Quatre is there for him and more than happy to remind him that they have all the time in the world to discover new things about each other, and for Trowa to learn more about himself.

Summary
Mary Summers is a sweet nine-year-old girl who’s going through a hard time. She just learned that she’s autistic and doesn’t know how to deal with it. Her parents have started arguing a lot more, kids are bullying her at school, and one day, she discovers her mother’s blog and is horrified by what she sees. Feeling like nobody cares about her, she decides to run away and even leaves a note. But before she can come up with a plan, a mysterious train picks her up and she finds a glowing number 120 on her hand. Plus, every train car has its own world and inhabitants...and she thinks it's the best thing ever. Why would she want to leave when all that’s waiting for her at home are a mother that hates her for being autistic, bullies who want to make her life miserable, and being constantly told she’s not normal? She befriends a talking hamster, Vic, and Blanca, a sentient, shapeshifting marshmallow. They decide to embark on a journey to see what the train has to offer, with Mary intent on reinventing herself and realizing she isn’t just some bothersome girl...but Mary is completely unaware of just how concerned her family and friends are when they see her note.

Renee loved every bit of it. As far as she was concerned, nothing could be better than raising these beloved creatures and giving them love and affection. She loved them and they loved her. She had no room in her head for thoughts of boyfriends, and if she never married, she was okay with that. Whether she married or not, Renee was happy with her life and wouldn’t change anything about it.
But then the strange man named Toby Fisher came swimming into her life, like a fish in a river."
Renee was content with her life on her farm. Then a carefree fisherman swam his way into her life. Originally written in May of 2019, and I just never got around to posting this here.

Quatre raises his head to face him. Then with a slight gesture, he corrects himself. “He’ll try to make it.” Aha. That sounds just like Duo, all right. Places he’s never been to. Places where nobody knows him. By Wufei’s hypothesis, when he was narrowing down the possibilities, he may as well have disappeared into the smaller asteroids ricocheting endlessly around the solar system, farther and farther for every orbit it makes.
“Where is he coming from?” Wherever it is, it’s probably some series of numbers and letters Wufei had never even seen in the Preventers’ extensive database—
“The Winner Hospital.”
“What?” That can’t be right.
Quatre offers a smile… what face is Wufei showing him that he has to put on that tender, comforting look for him? “He met an accident.”

Summary
Quatre likes to play with the fuzz on Trowa’s nape whenever they’re in bed, and that’s how he knows. “Isn’t it time to cut your hair?”
But Trowa only smiles, and that’s how Quatre knows that he’s embarrassed by the question. Thinking about it now, he realizes that Trowa’s been oddly self-conscious about his hair since they got together. Time and again, he would run his fingers along the length of his sweeping fringes, indecisive about how far off his nose he should wear them. Often, Quatre would catch him rehearsing his looks endlessly in front of the mirror, too.
“Why do you wear your hair like this?” He supposes it was just a matter of time before he had to ask the question.

Summary
Despite everything that happened, life in Possum Springs has moved on for Mae and her friends. Gregg and Angus are getting ready to move, and Bea is trying to repair her relationship with her father and maybe start learning to enjoy life a little more.
And Mae is still struggling to figure out what to do with her life. Things have been going mostly alright for a while now, but she still has issues of her own to work out. And even though she’s home again and with familiar faces, sometimes she slips back down, and there’s nothing there for her to hold on to anymore.
So it’s a good thing her friends are there to hold on to her.
