Summary
"Brock didn't really know what he'd been expecting. Probably someone like a lone action hero, ready with a smarmy quip and dripping with charisma. Instead, he got a soft-spoken idiot who licked the air freshener dangling from the rearview mirror because it smelled like cotton candy. The immediate wrinkling of his nose made it very plain that it didn't taste anything like it smelled. Not that Brock needed to be informed of that because he wasn't a complete and utter moron. No, reality hadn't just clashed with Brock's expectations. It'd murdered them violently."
(AU where Brock Rumlow snags Hydra's secret weapon he's heard so much about and makes a break for it. But no one told him just how much work was involved in handling the Winter Soldier.)

Summary
Eva Stratt has never been a woman who hesitates.
She’s made countless decisions after decisions throughout her life, often regardless of the consequences that may result. She’s not an idiot. She’s well aware that there will be consequences, and she’s equally sure that the consequences will be of little concern. The end justifies the means — her actions will be judged, but at least they will have happened.
But here, alone in a Russian conference room, for once in her life Eva Stratt does not know what to do.

Summary
Does he want to leave Nice?
Sure, the last few hours were the most overwhelmed he has ever felt and sure, Nice was- well pushy was to put it mildly. But, does he really want to leave? Leave Nice and go back home to no one? Continue his life like this never happened?
You don’t have a responsibility to Nice.
No, he doesn’t; he knows that. But… Nice’s mental state is clearly in tatters, and if his presence—if his ability—can bring him some peace, then he’ll stay. He may not be a hero, but if he can help one person, then that’ll be enough.
If Lin Ling can be a hero to one person, that’ll be enough.
.
.
.
In this world, Lin Ling can calm people down if they are within arm's length of him. He thought nothing of it until one day he saved the 15th hero, Nice, from suicide.Series
