Aziraphale has been the curator of the Library of Alexandria since its construction, and his hands are very full between incompetent colleagues, a mischievous building and increasing pressure from his ethereal hierarchy. So, Crawley’s ship getting held in harbour is just something he doesn’t want to deal with right now. Besides, he should know better than to spare even a thought for his hereditary enemy, especially after what happened between them.

Crawley stopped struggling. He felt the familiar, icy grip of a feeling he wasn’t supposed to suffer. He protested all the stronger, “Oh come on, that’s not fair! None of us knew it would take such proportions! It was a bit of an over—”
“YOU should have known!” Aziraphale was almost yelling now. “When has disobedience ever been tolerated? Have you already forgotten what happened last time? What happened to you?”
Oh, that was a low blow. Crawley darkened, his voice dropping to a threatening whisper. “You’re not speaking very carefully for someone who doesn’t have a flaming sword any more…”

Summary
