“Holy gravity,” he breathed, feeling pure excitement as he pulled himself up into a cast. He flipped himself forward and let his body dangle from the bar, swinging his legs to gain momentum. Once it reached a decent amount, he threw himself and reached out to grab the opposing bar. Dick gasped as he missed with one hand, barely catching one with his other. He laughed, bowing his head to the audience that lived only in his memory. “That was close.”

“Dick,” Wally started, speaking slowly. He sat down next to his friend and put a hand on his arm. Dick repressed a flinch at the question his friend asked. He made himself focus on the screen in front of him. “When was the last time you slept?”
“I don't know, Monday, maybe? I know it's been a little more than ninety-six hours. I haven't really done the math.” Robin moved from reading one of the digital articles to one of the newspapers in front of him. Simultaneously, he picked up his pen and started writing notes in his notebook. He ignored the minor tremor in his hand. He could sleep after he finished this case and did his geometry homework. “Why?”
Kid Flash stared at him. “It's Friday.”

Dick's mother loved to remind him that his first words were mama, then dada. Of course he didn't remember that, and after his parents died nobody in his life ever would.
But they would remember his last words before his attempt, until the day they take their last breath.

"—and how is that even POSSIBLE?" He recognized the voice immediately. Tim. And he sounded... not good.
Jason should have left. Should have just aborted the mission and come back another time when Tim wasn't around. That was the smart play. The tactical play. But curiosity was a bitch, and Jason found himself moving toward the sound instead of away from it. He peered around the doorframe and saw Tim in his office, pacing like a caged animal with at least five empty coffee cups scattered across his desk. The kid looked like he hadn't slept in a week. Maybe longer.

Summary
“Why Plastic Man?” Hal asked.
“He’s on monitor duty right now,” the Bat didn’t even sound out of breath. He was typing something out on some sort of communicator device he had pulled from his belt. It looked like a phone, but a bit bulkier. He put a hand to his comm and switched it on, so the three heroes with him heard both his actual voice and the echo of it in their ears. Though Batman was clearly trying to reach Clark, Diana, and Barry, it threw Hal off balance for a second.
“The intruder is not dangerous. Do not engage.”
Hal was just disoriented enough that he kept running, spurred on by the fact that, despite his message, Batman was still sprinting down the halls. The three of them reached the medbay, and Batman came to an abrupt halt, the other three skidding to a stop beside him. Standing there, covered in blood, was Nightwing.
OR
The Bats gather on the Watchtower. Tensions are high. The JL just wants to know what the hell is going on.
