Ned assumes they’re for him.
Peter panics.

Summary
A dead padawan, a masked Sith, a failing Republic, and the missing link that connects it all.
In which eleven year old Anakin Skywalker is kidnapped and memory wiped by the Sith, and it changes everything.
...
Vader had a plan: destroy Sidious, seize power, and finally rule the galaxy. Easy.
What he didn’t plan on:
– Babysitting a snippy Padawan
– Being emotionally blackmailed by her grief-stricken Jedi master
– Catching feelings for a stubborn (and strangely attractive???) Naboo senator who insists there's still "good in him" - whatever that meansBut when fragments of a life he doesn't remember start to resurface, and his new "allies" won't stop dragging his ass toward the light, Darth Vader starts to wonder who he really is beneath the mask.
Because, sometimes, the real power is the friends you definitely didn’t plan on making.
…And seriously, who the hell is Anakin Skywalker?
