It had started, as nascent relationships between young people were wont to do, with making out. A bit of grinding, humping, hands down each other's pajama bottoms in the cool glow of a laptop forgotten across the bed.

They didn't own a toolbox, so Phil's old cordless hammer drill had to be the stand-in. It was a silly prop, just something for Dan to carry up the stairs as he came into the house, wearing an old tank top and baggy pants. He didn't really own "builder" clothes, but it didn't matter.
Hopefully, the clothes wouldn't be on for long.
Dan and Phil try some roleplay.

"I'd love to, but I'm still tangled," Dan said, holding up the jumble of wires now wrapped around his wrists like some kind of strange bird's nest.
"Oh, it's not that bad," Phil said gently, and something about his tone was lulling Dan, making his mouth go dry and his pajamas feel tight.
