Summary
A brief interlude in your regularly scheduled Whumptober, for an analysis of the Holmes Brothers. Keeping slightly on theme, I wanted to analyze their respective understanding of health and relationship to wellness. Summary
Sherlock nodded slowly. He lifted his head. His eyes were fixed on his brother's face, and he looked, suddenly, years younger, a boy in a corridor, waiting outside a closed door.
"You said her," he said.
Anthea's fingers stilled on Mycroft's wrist.
"Earlier. You said, he was afraid of losing his child before he had even met her." His voice cracked. "You said her, Anthea."
For a moment, she said nothing. The monitor traced its steady green line. The ventilator breathed in, and out, and in again.
"Yes," said Anthea softly. "I did."Bookmarked by Thomina
