OR The al Ghul heir died, which is how Damian al Ghul inherits the title of heir. By technicality, he gets to keep that title even if the eldest son is revived two years later.
Some things happens, and eventually Danny is tasked to escort his younger brother, the heir, to their father. They didn't... exactly tell him he's also to be delivered to Bruce Wayne.
To be fair, they could really work with their method of communication!

They came at unannounced, irregular intervals, so it was a pleasant surprise every time. Peter smiled. He had to admit that Nebula stopped by more often than any of the others.
