Summary
Tommy didn’t remember much at all from before They took him. He remembered heat, and screaming, and then the total, absolute silence of death. He remembered choking on ash as he screamed, barely even a toddler, for his parents.
His first clear memory came only moments after, when he was gripped by warm hands and pulled from the rubble.
Now, as an adult, a not insignificant part of him wished that he had died as a child in the same flames that his village had been razed in.

Tommy is a human raised by Gods who is sick of their shit and runs away to a better life. And you know what? It works.

And that’s only considering the history of Earth. The Universe at large is millions upon billions upon quintillions of years older than that. Enough time for stars to die, for solar systems to decompose, rot away into nothing but solar dust and crumbling asteroids.

“Hello?” The voice called again. “Tommy? You up yet? Dad made pancakes, you don’t wanna miss it.”
There were a lot of things wrong with that statement. Not just that Tommy had no idea where he was and didn’t know this person, even though they were speaking like the opposite was true. No, the main problem was that Tommy didn’t have a dad.
His parents gave him away as soon as he was born. He’d been passed around the foster system for most of his childhood until, just two months ago, he’d gotten emancipated. With the little money he’d had, he’d moved into the apartment he currently lived in.
Point is, Tommy doesn’t have parents and he certainly never has the money for breakfast or pancakes.

After getting emancipated from the foster system at seventeen, Tommy is convinced he’s going to spend the rest of his life alone.
That changes when one day, he wakes up in a different dimension, one set in medieval times, one with magic, and more importantly, one where he has a family. Despite the fact that Tommy never existed there in the first place.
Miscommunication, hurt/comfort, and found family occur.

Tommy picks up alien friends left and right to slowly work his way around space to survive. His hell through space does not prevent the affection that his heart still retains and he slowly begins to heal the scars that have been formed from being treated like an experiment, an animal.

They chose, somewhat at random, one child to send to this school.
That "child" happened to be 16-year-old Tommy Innes.
Maybe it wasn't the best idea to leave him without supervision

Summary
A century ago, a meteor crashed into the world, people started gaining gifts, or if you prefer superpowers.
The world quickly went into chaos, people tried everything to try and survive.
Eventually the Guardians succeeded in their goals. They had made the first acts of heroism, and the hero committee was made, the Guardians after they retired were called the "original Guardians" as new guardians continue the legacy.
100 years later and the world is slowly going into chaos.
Villains have taken over the Nether, Mojaja belittles any non-perfect hero, and the hero committee following rules from a world that no longer exists.
There lies Floor 49. A hero group known for property damage, reckless missions, encounters they should NOT have survived, infamously being known as the group were most of their members have been abandoned by their mentors, and hated by the public and most heroes themselves.
Until secrets are revealed and the world is at risk of chaos... Floor 49 suddenly becomes important.
